British historian Robert Tombs has criticised SS Rajamouli's RRR. He said that the portrayal of Britons in the film was not accurate and was done thus just to increase the level of heroics. He teaches at Cambridge University. According to a comment from him, "RRR panders to the regressive and aggressive Hindu nationalism that is emerging as the dominant force in Indian culture and politics, fuelled by the Modi regime."
